Remember last year when all that money was spent on "Bird Flu" and it never even crossed over to humans. It was like pharm companys wanted it to. Bird flu is still around. Swine flu has already shown its ability to species jump. Not saying anyone should give in to the hysteria, the over blown news stories, nor the junk science. Just keep an open and rational mind about it all.
Not everyone should get a vaccine, nobody should encourage everyone to get one anyways. There is not enough for that to go around (which also hurts those damn conspiracy get rich theories as the price does not change).
Just judge the risk for your age group and health level, like you should for the standard flu vaccine. My only issue is those refusing to take it that have chosen to work in the health care fields or with at risk age groups. They should suck it up and take the shit either way. Even if the vaccine is for the wrong flu type this season.
