50 thousand Canadian men suffer from Prostatitis
Definition: "Prostatitis" = Inflammation of the prostate gland that causes Persistent pain and discomfort.
Some Symptoms: :
-Frequent urination or Persistent feeling to pee even when you jsut did pee, Difficulty in urinating, weak urine stream
-Pain during or after urination, after bowel movement, in the urethra, testicles, between the anus and scrotal sac
- Swelling, soreness and/or pain in the groin area,
-Pain in the lower back area and during or after ejaculation, Weakened erection or orgasm
- Premature ejaculation
- Infertility or reduced libido
Can be either debilitating, demoralizing and depressing.
Classification, and types of prostatitis :
1) Nonbacterial prostatitis
2) Acute and chronic bacterial prostatitis
"Chronic prostatitis" = Persistent inflammation and ongoing, long-term discomfort or pain. With it may occur the frequent urge to urinate or difficulty in urinating, burning during or after urination, and various sexual problems (including reduced erections, premature ejaculation, or pain during or after ejaculation).

-Medical/scientific are still struggling to understand the causes and cures for prostatitis and is sometimes unable to provide quick relief.
-The good news is many methods of treatment are available and, as time passes, more and newer treatments are being provided.
-Since we and our prostate problems are all different, the results of various treatments are very individualistic and often unpredictable.
My opinion guys from experience has a nurse = safe sex and good hygiene habbits help preventing many problems...
