Now, enough of the plant - what the FUCK is that big fuckoff insect/animal in the background?????
Was wondering when someone else would notice the enemy of godzilla crawling around in that picture.

She appears to have several orchids. They also really like their own special food. I know we hit our orchids with a light misting with the spray bottle whenever. The bottle just sits by them and typically someone will give it a mist once or twice a day.

I had forgot to mention with the herbs that the thyme will enjoy spreading out. If you do not want it to invade other areas keep trimming whatever climbs the sides. It will re-root itself when it finds even some small amounts of dirt. We have some in our front yard that we intentionally let grow between some paving stones. It recovers quickly and does not mind abuse. So people can step on it every so often and it releases the scent into the air but never hurts the thyme that is between the paving stones. Technically we could eat that too, but we have another huge patch elsewhere near other herbs.

As of this year almost all plants we have added and all but 1 tree now provide something to us. We left in place one large oak since it does shade the house and is healthy. Everything else now is a fruit tree, vegetable, herb, or something along those lines. Even several of our flowers are edible. There are a few other flowers but yeah things need to produce. Just really waiting for the pomegranate trees to start producing. Have been super impressed with our purchase of our bay laurel tree.
