I honestly only see one problem with spam. Porn ads that underage kids see.

Other than that? Christ I get a few hundred a day and just delete them. Takes 5 minutes while I'm having my first cup of coffee.

It's NO different than the freaking spam I get in WITH my bills or bank statements or whatever. They're tearing down our natural resources for that shit. PLUS, how often do you READ what comes along with your statements and shit? Me? Rarely. BUT, nowadays you're practically FORCED to look through them, just in case there's something in there that you're SUPPOSED to read. For example, rate changes or policy changes.

I needed to order some cheques a couple of months ago. When I received them, I also had a $20 charge on my bank account. I phoned my bank and bitched that I was on a plan that provided free cheques. Oh, no, no they stated. They'd changed the plans and notified EVERYBODY. They said "You should have read our mailer".

Like I said, I've had enough of sifting around through Columbia House, Collector plates and uping my education brochures or my personal favorite-Life Insurance, to last a lifetime. So, I take out my statement and take a quick glance though the same old paper spam.

BUT, if you don't go through those things (expecially your bank trying to sell you life insurance) closely, it might come back to bite you in the ass. SO, you're FORCED to read their spam. They even tell you to read what comes in their statements.

Noone is forced to read email spam. If you see something from someone you don't know, delete it. It's that simple.

P.S. I am NOT a spammer and got my $20 back from the bank.
