What I do remember very well is the Vichy French pushing 75,000 Jews into the cattle cars on the way to Auschwitz while the brave and gallant Charles de Gaulle and the rest of the Free French Forces sat in cafes in London getting drunk and singing fight songs about the glorious "La Résistance" while Europe and Russia burned.
I firmly believe that all the decent French people died at Dunkirk.
