thats wrong on so many levels as explained in my post above.
If you are the type that you can never have enough money and if you make 100 million you want to make 100 million more. Or if you burn through the money as fast as you make it... yeah maybe then you would be chasing it forever. But if you really worked 10x harder early on in your life if you save and invest correctly you should be set the rest of your life. Then instead of spending time with your kids just on weekends you could spend everyday with them, your grand kids, make sure your kids are financially secure, go to college, have money for that wedding, take vacations with them, everyone's health is covered. Travel the world with your spouse etc. etc. etc...
When I hear the " enjoy life, I didn't work much because I wanted to spend time with my family, spend it while you are young" etc.. or any one of those type of sayings, my first response is to think how people are making excuses for being lazy... at least 9 out of 10 times I bet that is case.
