You really believe that there is a group of people who are telling DA's, police and various law enforcement to just arrest and jail people so they can make money? You really believe that we have all the laws we have on the books because this "group" wants to make more money and having more people in jail helps their bank account?
If so why is there such a shortage of jail space? Why are they always letting people slide and not sending them to jail or letting them out early because they don't have anywhere to put them? Why not invest some of this money and build new prisons or expand the existing ones?
