And still, if it is so lucrative why are they not building more prisons and jails? Why turn people loose that could be in jail? Surely the cost of another jail is nothing compared to what they are making off the prisoners and I'm sure they can word everything just right and get the tax payers to pay for it.

Speaking of laws...it has probably been 20 years ago...that I read there were more than ten million laws/ordinances on the books nationally...from city to county to state to federal laws/ordinances. When one considers that each law/ordinance restricts something...one can wonder how we can call ourselves a free country. In my life I have had many...many more problems with city and county laws/ordinances than I have ever had with state or federal laws/ordinances.
