If it is so profitable why are they not constantly building more jails and prisons. There is a ton of money going to waste every day when they let people off that should be going to jail or they release people early from jail because there is no room for them.

Dude we have 4% of the population and more than the world in jail and empty prisons... Do you not remember the ordeal recently where some fraud was trying to take control of one?? Our entire system is based on fraud. Why do people get released because the sheriffs department is not a part of the scam. Well in most cases anyway. ... The person with the most power within your county even more power then the president is your county sheriff. If his jail is full by these fools over doings he cuts them loose.. You don't have to believe me. You're going to see it before you very eyes... Keep your eyes open.
