Percentages are not supposed to be added to alcohol purchases. You typically tip a flat rate per beer/shot, a bit more for a mixed drink, and a buck or two per glass of wine. I typically am willing to add in up to 10 bucks for a bottle, depending on price.

I do not care if that is considered cheap or not. I know in CA there get full minimum wage at least, plus they can not have their wages deducted like in some eastern states.

Oh and if a place has a mandatory tip for parties of X. They do not get anything extra at all. Also if they try to add in alcohol I will pitch a fucking fit.
