I know you think it's appropriate to expect a tip from a rich/popular person, but there's nothing wrong with this scene. The fare is $18.50... if it was $20.00 then it should read $20.00 or put a sign up in the cab that says "All fares rounded up if I think your rich..." - problem solved.
