How sponsors count traffic varies so widely that the statements would be pretty much useless. Some count raws. Some uniques. Some count "qualified" clicks. Some join page traffic. Plus ratios can vary so much simply depending on the actual traffic sent to it that people really need to judge by their own traffic. You can have somebody complain that they have huge ratios and then find out they are sending totally unfiltered traffic from who knows where and that goes into the same pot for an 'overall' ratio as those sending extremely targeted traffic.
