Perhaps should not of used the word most in that sentence. I know there are some that believe the earth had at least formed a solid crust at the impact or that was the theory. I did not mean cooled to the thickness that the core is at now. Just was talking about that it was also not just a ball of liquid rock. It's impact again liquefied the planet once again. Feel free to correct if I am wrong but right now that is what I do remember. Normally my memory would be much better.
Now people can expect some sort of announcement coming out of Mountain View California at around 9am. Apparently (news sources) NASA new this last month and kept it under wraps. They felt they could no longer keep it a secret before people figured it out so they are going to announce today.
