Maybe if we (the entire species) quit blowing billions and trillions of tax payer dollars on killing one another, we could work on something more productive like space exploration and high efficiency energy sources. Perhaps we could actually find a way to spread from this godforsaken rock and clean up our own planet before overpopulation and pollution wipes us all out....
But no, that's not gonna happen, lol...
