There are certainly a lot of smaller webmasters getting swallowed up by the bigger webmasters. Just like the smaller programs are getting eaten by the bigger ones. This industry has long needed a consolidation. Too many people, too many willing to not make anything to give things away fro free. Look at what has become of our once gold-mine of an industry.

There are still guys making bank, quietly. But don't think they are doing everything through "morally legit" ways.
