i still believe AIM was instituted by the large production houses for two purposes:
1. To appease the talent, thinking it is pretty safe to fuck wo condoms.
2. To show externally that the industry is self-medicating and controlling.
for those purposes, AIM is very successful.
and actually they have done a decent job.
