Revup to close accounts - have to reapply in new year.

Dear RevUpCard Cardholder,

This message is to inform you that RevUpCard has entered into an agreement for the sale and transfer of its Brand and Payroll card program to a major non-US operator of stored value card programs. An announcement from the new provider will be made by the end of the year. This will involve a transition to newly issued cards from a non-US bank. Unfortunately, to facilitate this transition, RevUpCard must close all current card accounts on its US BIN no later than Dec 31st.

We suggest a complete withdrawal of all remaining funds on your card well in advance of that date. If funds remain on your card at that time, your account will be deactivated and the remaining funds will be sent to you via check, which may take (14-28 business days).
In the first quarter of the new year, your employers will reach out to you again with an offer to re-apply for the new and improved RevUpCard, which will include many more of the exciting features that customers have been asking for.
