Plus we don't have to pay extra for health insurance every single month. So in reality, people in the US spend more on taxes and health care than we do on taxes, but we get health care at no additional cost. I'd rather pay a few % extra on taxes and get health care with no worries than pay almost the same taxes plus have to pay monthly for health insurance and have to deal with a lot of bullshit.
