Jessica Alba recently claimed she was told not to make eye contact with the stars of ?Beverly Hills 90210″ when she filmed a guest appearance in 1998. Apparently Luke Perry and Shannen Doherty just couldn?t deal with non-mega stars like themselves looking them directly in the eye. Alba said it was totally bizarre on-set.
Alba, 25, says, ?I don?t really know why. Maybe because the leading characters were so popular they didn?t want other actors looking at them.
?You wouldn?t be allowed to talk to them unless they spoke to you first. It was bizarre. But I guess that?s what happens when you become a big star.
?A lot of actors get away with murder on set, but I always like to be part of the crew.?
Considering how completely lop-sided Shannen Doherty?s eyes are, I?m guessing it would be virtually impossible to make eye contact with her anyways. So, you know, screw it.
