I think the fact that it is used all over the place probably doesn't help. I guess I need to start calling them every time I go somewhere.

When I had a B of A card, it never worked in person, so I would always have to be on my cell phone in a doctor's office or store, assuring them that, yes, I bought things in two different countries in one day through the magic of this thing called the internet. The web purchases, when it wouldn't be embarrassing, always went through. B of A claimed they had no way to contact me when I was making a web purchase and that is why they always waited for an actual in-person card one. Like they didn't have my contact info?
