It makes perfect sense to me that if the government can make a more financial mess in our country that it will eventually make it more difficult for Americans to buy and sell, and live on their own making them desperate for help from someone, or something. Perhaps the government? After all the more control the government has of the people, the more power it has to take away freedoms. The thing is many people will be so desperate for help, and will be willing to let the government do what it wants, not realizing their help comes with a price...freedom. Is that the idea behind all your spending?
God said He will meet our needs, and He asks us to trust Him to meet those needs. He asks us to trust Him in all our ways...Proverbs 3:5,6; Luke 12:29,30 He shares many verses saying not to worry about what we're going to eat, drink or wear. He knows we have need of these things, but one thing He asks of us is to seek Him. Matthew 6:33 "But seek first His kingdom, and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well".
America...wake up...Government is not the answer, God is. He takes care of His people, so we give Him the glory and thanks. I know, because my husband and I have experienced His provision for us more than once.
It is time for Americans to go to church and pray, and look up to God for answers not the government. Give Him a try.
