this thread is another fine example of what is wrong with the world. in days of old, people used to have healthy debates and actually listen to each others points regardless of how far fetched they seemed or even if one had an opposite opinion.

these days we immediately jump on 1 side and hold that position often without the ability to use facts to support ones opposition.

what i find even more fascinating is that when sitting with people of higher intelligence and typically those that have had a lot of success in their lives tend to listen more than they speak...

and when they do have something to say its thought out and rarely insulting
