Yup, that might be an idea. Once upon a time a polish cave explorer, (unfortunately, I don't remember his name) got stuck in the cave due to the torn rope, he couldn't also use any communication. He survived more than three weeks in the cave drinking his urine, eating paper and bugs till finally the help came.
