I can only speak from my experience. People looking specifically for Claudia Marie end up coming to me in the end one way or another. My dynamic tour is better than any free site when it comes to Claudia-Marie. Google is a place where I don't have any problems anymore, but only because I work hard to make sure of it.
And I've been expanding out to some very cool keywords lately as well. 
Hell, I'll give some of y'all one of them right here...I don't mind competition cause I think I'm better lol

I've been finding LOADS of keywords recently that surprised me with how big and profitable they are. And once I find 'em, I take 'em. 
And no...I don't need to buy a "pretty" adword on Google to make sales. |
Have you ever tried using adwords to advertise your own site?
If not, give it a try. A few hundred bucks is all it takes, and you're likely to see results since you'll be able to add a join page promo link directly to the google results - effectively adding a direct alternative to the indirect listings that are there now.
