The confusion for a lot of people is, there are many 120hz + TVs already on the market; however, none of them accept a 120hz signal yet. Signal and refresh rate are two different things.
I think the main race will be between Sony and Mitsubishi. Sony has already announced all existing PS3 titles will become 3D via a simple firmware update, so they would have a huge market for their new television sets from all the gamers and I expect that to push them to get there first.

). Too bad I couldn't see this new kind of 3D TV (without glasses) yet. Just know this polarisation-technique from cinema and it's amazing I think. Much more entertaining and no headache, in opposite to the 2 color goggles-technique. Can't wait if it's true and the PS3 games will support this too. Had this old ELSA revelator shutter thing for PC, especially racing games made a lot more fun, the problem was that you became sick after 1 hour.
