Thanks everyone for the nice comments on the pics
I know there are a lot of dog lovers here so I thought the pictures would be interesting enough to post.
I wanted to show how happy and carefree the dogs were and how nice a place it was on such a nice day.
With the economy like it is and with so many people stressed to the limit I wanted to show how easy and free it is to have a nice day. Judging by your comments that feeling came through in the pictures.
I'll finish it up with a few more pictures I took yesterday a little farther up the Florida Gulf coast
at my friend's beach house near a town called Venice.
It's a different looking beach than the one we were at the other day but is still dog friendly.
More private with only single homes mostly hidden by the vegetation.
My dog " Rusty " had the place all to himself and had the time of his life
My friend's house is right on a nice surf spot and let's us all stay there when the surf is up.
I like to sit in the hut at the end of his boardwalk that leads to the backyard
It was the first time my dog has seen waves and he wasn't a bit scared
The waves were going off and my friend sure knows how to surf his home break
My dog even swam out to meet the guys as they rode the waves in
If they came up on the beach he would con them into a game of fetch with his tennis ball.
The guy behind them is looking for something you don't usually find anywhere else
For some reason this little stretch of Florida beach is peppered with fossilized sharks teeth and when a storm comes through and moves the sand around you can find them all over. I found these without taking a step.
The surf was small but fun and my friend even found a tube or two right out back
Rusty saw some of that and wanted to get one for himself
While the weather wasn't perfect it was another full on free spirited day at the beach
The footprints Rusty left behind will soon wash away but the day is now on film and will last forever
