Donīt use these two words as synonym: United State - Western Civilisation.
Many countries, mainly those who donīt have a consuming fetish wonīt have any problems to deal with their economy systems, specially those which have a strong presence of the state.
I bet US will find a way to fix all that shit, but in case they donīt get it, many other "western civilisation" will keep working fine, people living lives happy and with no fear of mayor crisis.
There is life beyond US!!
