Seems like a pretty big paycheck to be chancing by urging people away from the search engine, no? With the recent news about Bing and MS's paid to index plans, could this be a sign. When the contract runs out, could Bing be the ones gunning for the sponsored search engine position within FF?

Wouldn't surprise me. MS is coming out swinging with Bing.
They get a cut of the cut of the Adsense revenue made from people using the Toolbar with google on the top right in FF.
