I am going to AEE and Internext.
Get plenty of sleep as the days tend to be very long. I usually take late afternoon power naps so that I can stay up late and still wake up early the next morning. Allow for a day of sleep when you get back home.
It seems to be anticipated that the shows this year will be smaller. Don't let that be a deterrent. You may actually have better access to people who can share their knowledge and experiences with you.
Bring plenty of wipes or a bottle of Purell with you to carry around to clean your hands frequently. This helps reduce the possiblility of catching a cold or virus.
Wear your name badge on your upper right just below the shoulder to make it easy for people to read your name as you shake hands.
Collect business cards from everyone and give business cards to everyone.
Talk to as many people as possible. You may make some long term friends and meet some contacts from businesses whose services that you are currently using or may use in the future.
