I think you're completely wrong. DVD's are what, 2 hours long and sell for $30? And quality is more important than quantity. It only takes one scene that captures the surfer's interest for them to take out their credit card. What if a dude's into ball-busting? It's hard to find those type of sites so when he comes across a site with just ten scenes he really likes, he'll sign up.
I think the sites that must hate tubes the most are DVD sites like videobox.com. Their content is the Exact same content found on the tubes.
