The worst pill to swallow? Shut them down and they're up! It's as simple as that.
Here's my take -- it's all about tangibles versus intangibles. It's that simple. Human nature. If you can't feel it, and if you don't have to shove it down your pants and walk out of the store with it, people are OK with taking it for free. Especially when it's "porn"...cause, after all, we're "the bad guys" and it's OK to take from bad people.
When I taught English and the whole Napster v. Metallica thing was going down, I had tons of students who argued again Metallica. The arguments ranged from "they've made enough money" to "we're just fans sharing our enthusiasm for great music!"
I kid you not.
And guess what? Napster -- in that incarnation -- was piracy.
THE END.
Someone needs to open a "Brazzer's Tube". Host it somewhere where no one gives a fuck. Allow "user uploads" only as long as they're Brzzer's scenes. Post a DMCA. Take them down when they bitch, then reload them once more.
Give those fuckers a taste of their own medicine.

What law are they breaking man? As long as they comply with dmca takedown what law are they breaking? Again I'm not defending anyone I'm jsut saying that they are not breaking the law if they follow DMCA takedown. What law are you refering to? If there was a clear cut law they were breaking they would have been taken down a long time ago. Current DMCA laws are a fucking joke, they enable sites to pirate and get away with it.
And for the record I have always FORBIDDEN my kids from downloading any songs online for free. It is stealing short and simple. Hacked programs? I don't fucking think so, I pay $35 for ftp pro license when there's thousands of hacked copies flying around. Pirated videos? Not in my house, if it's not on cable it doesnt get watched. 75% of the guys crying about tubes have 1000 or more priated songs on their computer they downloaded.
