He is just trying to convince himself
And seems to be doing a great job at it, living his life in fear from what he has heard from "others" and scary stats.
Not to mention the friends he will be going through as 95% of the people close to the now fun party scene move on and get lives.
Life should be lived and it should be a party, but not one lived alone.....im not saying get married, personally i wouldent care as commonlaw is the exact same thing.
