Actually yes there is a principle. A wolf in sheep's clothing comes to mind. The weakest thing anyone or company can do is make the assumption that there in lies no immediate threat to their business. For those that make the assumption that I am not in the industry or that I am some guy pretending to be a girl really has no idea just who I am or what level I play on in the industry. But anyone who has any business sense does not show their entire hand nor do they validate others assumptions.
In theory, this persona could be nothing more than ruse created in the beginning with an over the top post to have those automatically dismiss me in my attempt to complete my market analysis to figure out how to attack my would be competitors. Immediately dismissed by many, I was labeled a "newbie" with no fucking clue. Makes it easier to conceal my intentions than if I was seen as a threat.
Maybe I am just someone out for revenge but stating so in the beginning would have clearly exposed my agenda. Instead, I may have sat back and waited, knowing that my target had the propensity of putting themselves in horrible situations that would enable me to exact my revenge and expose them.
The thing many forget, I am merely a name on a forum. Unlike Dirty D, my identity is not known or linked to my forum name. So in theory, I can change my online identity, publish my article exposing Dirty D for the filth that he is, and re-create myself later on. Dirty D, is stuck with the same name and lack of character and integrity.
