No, I'm sorry. None of them are catching up. The latest "Craze" moto droid phones are only predicted to sell 9 million next year. As opposed to Apple selling 30 million.
With iPhones owning 50% of the smart phone market right now. HALF of all smart phones are iphones. That's not something you can just launch a new phone and "catch up" on. It would take the droid five years outselling the iphone to catch up. And at the rate the droid is selling it would take it another five years just to begin to outsell it.
Come on, you gotta base your login on reality here.
But anyway, my point being the app store. The app store boasts over 100,000 apps in November.
100,000!!!!. The droid market has 1,000. Again, it would take yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeears to catch up.
The simple scale of the numbers is astounding. I mean, more power to the other smart phones out there. But come on, no one can say they're going to "catch up" to the app store or apple's current control of the smart phone market. That's a pipe dream.
