Actually Iowa often get more freezing rain and sometimes more snow than us. But they don't sit at 0 days -10 nights all February.

But yeah you guys get alot of fricken precip in Iowa. We miss alot of Iowa storms. Sometimes they stall coming up from the gulf before it gets 2/3 the way up Minn. Or they sweep across more to Wisconsin or Illinois.

But yeah nasty shit around the upper midwest for sure.

Gonna be highs of maybe 20 days during the storm so that helps alot. But then back down to 0.
