Saying "sorry" is not the same as admitting when you are wrong. They are two different beasts.

Most of us have been trained to say "sorry" under certain circumstances in order to try to make the other person feel better. That has nothing to do with actually being wrong or admitting guilt. It's appeasement, nothing more.

I agree with kman. I very rarely say the words "sorry", because very rarely am I "sorry." But when I do make a mistake, I admit it and also correct it fairly quickly.
