When I was 21 some friends and I went on a trip to New Orleans. On our way back after a long weekend we were pulled over in a small town in Louisiana. It was for speeding (everyone was sober in the car) and didn't seem like a big deal. The cop must have thought we were drunk because we looked real tired (really hungover). He told the driver to get out of the car and when he was getting out he grabbed him by the back of the shirt and threw him on the hood of the car hard. He proceeded to slam his head into the hood and yell at him calling him a punk kid who wasn't following directions fast enough. He wanted him to take a breathalyzer and as he asked he said "if you don't cooperate I'll have to use force and you don't want that". Said something along the lines of how he could do whatever he wanted to because no one would believe a bunch of punk kids over him.
It was really scary actually. Everyone I've told it to assumes we were doing something bad but it couldn't be farther from the truth. One of the guys was sleeping in the backseat and I was listening to a Discman in the passenger seat. No drinking, no drugs on us, nothing. I thought this guy was going to shoot us all. He said we were being fined for speeding and it could be more if we didn't pay the fine immediately which was $250. We had $150 on us and the cop said the city would bill us for the rest. Finally let us go. My friend who was driving had his nose busted open and a lip that eventually needed stitches when we got back to Minnesota. Not surprisingly, we never got a bill for the rest so I'm assuming he just pocketed the money.
Total redneck cop and just a scary as shit situation. We assumed he saw our Minnesota plates and just didn't like Northerners or young guys. He kept saying stuff about "you guys think you can come down here and do whatever the fuck you want". Amazing experience all over going like 15 miles over the speed limit.

You should have remembered his badge number and plate number...the media eats this stuff up and you could have sued for millions.
