No-one can help an alcoholic except another alcoholic. But Canada has some of the best AA Groups in the world. And the best part about it is - they're free! Don't listen to anyone giving you advice besides an alcoholic. Even doctors have given up on alcoholics but they can help with medical withdrawl. And don't listen to your cuz telling you wha type of help he is choosing to get - the only requirement for AA Membership is a desire to stop drinking. Period. You don't have to believe in God either, plenty of athiests & agnostics in AA. Anyways, I've said too much on a public forum about this - contact me if you still need help.
