The email part is defo off, however don't forget the average person has more than 1 email account, I personally have 3 that I check and combined I get more than 100 spam emails per day. 1 I cut off recently was getting 300 spam emails per day, I had it since 2002. While the initial figure is high, I'm willing to bet somewhere around 60-70% of that is the real number.
