Yeah, but to buffer a 45 minute video, you would need to buffer a hell of a lot more than a 10 second start. The user's down speed would be able to catch up with that in no time. So by the time they reached 1-2 minutes, they'd probably have caught up with the buffer, and have to pause to rebuffer a ten second start right?
I dunno, maybe I should go test this theory and go to pornhub and try to watch a 45 minute video. But I'm pretty sure there's no way I could just open up the video and watch it all the way through without sitting there a dozen times while the video catches up to the buffer and it would have to pause and buffer out ahead of the current spot.
