No, Rick would have been smart enough to sell them individually and would have probably gotten a bunch more than $14 million even.
For domains of a grand nature like that, getting to the decision contacts of the larger companies (press release may not find its way into their hands) and the negotiation strategy/tactics then used to maximize the sale make a huge key to getting a sale done on something like that (or at least for a price the seller wants). That's not to say they couldn't get lucky on their own, but that's what would likely have to happen - getting lucky. I doubt they'd be using Rick if they had the contact network/negotiation skills themselves. That's why to use a broker. Get 80-90% of a nice number vs. 100% of a much lower number or 0 if you can't get it sold for what you want.
