Most Japanese food is fairly healthy. One of the reasons that Japan leads the world in life expectancy.

I wouldn?t put this as the first bottle on the table for a GOOD dinner but you should try it out.
Overall Argentina is just producing fantastic wines right now!

South America is really coming on as a producer of good and relatively inexpensive wines.
While I tend to gravitate towards Napa and Sonoma (Northern California wines), since the vineyards are only about an hour drive from me, I do enjoy getting introduced to wines from other areas.
One of my college roommates is now a Professor in England, and whenever I visit him, after hitting his fairly extensive stash of French wine (he actually rents space in a warehouse to store his wine), we take the Eurostar over to France, and he takes me to some great boutique wineries.
My favorite wines are invariably Cabernets, however I have been enjoying some great old vines Zinfandels lately.
Since my wife's tastes are more towards Chardonnay, I drink a fair amount of that as well.
We'll, we are getting ready for sushi tonight (more pix coming), and are already enjoying some Ferrari-Carano Chardonnay (while watching Oregon tie up Ohio State at the Rose Bowl)...
Life is good!!!
