UPDATE:


Sent the bulb back, they tested it and confirmed the bulb was faulty.
Then they tell me the bulb is out of stock and its a two week wait until they get there next shipment from the manufacturer.
It's lucky this is not our only tv as bulb was ordered 11/27/2009 so its been over a month already without the tv working.

I guess one solution would be too always have a spare bulb on hand however what if the 2nd bulb you buy also fails when you install it...

Am glad our lcd flat screen tv's don't have those stupid bulbs.

12/24/2009 Processing Testing lamp SN IH013D01 - Testing failed. Lamp failed to hold light for the duration of the test. Lamp will be marked as defective. Processing exchange.
12/30/2009 Backordered Warranty replacement. Awaiting manufacturer replacement. Order will be shipping within 1-2 weeks.
