you need to be working out at least...at least...2 and a half hours of good cardio three times a week. You need to eat 2000 or less calories a day....you need to do this for at least two years at a minimum. If you do it for two years, you will do it for a lifetime.
Anything less than this dedication, then you are pissing up a rope and will always be fat.
Sure you can lose a few pounds by June, but that ain't real. Not even close. It is a dumb goal. I would much rather lose a whole lot less but be on the road to good health, no diabetes or heart disease, and eating good food whenever I want.
Fuck the New Orleans diet. That is a highway to hell and what you are eating will kill you.
Trust me. I know.

Sure they lie. I didn't claim it was accurate, and in the rest of the blog I mention I have a heart-rate monitor that I will be using. However it is a good gauge when using the same machine day in day out. For me to take an hour or 2 out of my day to do cardio or lift is a heck of a lot better than none. I've done the rapid weight loss before and gained it back. I know what I did wrong and what i will not be doing this time. I eat good food and enjoy my life. I'm not on a "diet". Your comments show you don't know my situation. What may have worked for you, might not work for me. To blindly say "eat less than 2000 calories a day" is nuts. I am eating roughly 2500 calories a day, and still operating at a caloric deficit. I just eat more often.
You are right about staying active. The only way to succeed in long term life change is to change your life and stay active.

You know, I did see you on your bike! I don't have the time to spend 4hrs a day at the gym, I have kids and a job. lol. However I can work out twice a day most days and still have plenty of time to get my other jobs done.
Thanks for the congrats... and congrats to you as well. A bike in SF, with all the hills is damn hard I am sure!
