The difference between that and what you had in mind, of course, may be that you
were thinking that a bunch of webmasters would nicely agree on how to share the costs,
as if there wouldn't be bickering about sites with more stolen content paying more,
whining about people who benefit without paying their share, etc. (Basically a communal
effort, aka communist). Because such attempts generally just result in bickering, the
same goal is reached more effectively by Eric forming the removeyourcontent.com company, but the result is the same - Eric and his team get content removed,
participating webmasters share the cost of keeping him employed.
