It's ok, a lot of people do. Personally, it's one of the worst piece of crap I ever read. I know it's supposed to be entertainment, but life is too short and there are too many good books out there to waste time on Dan Brown.
If you want a book about the same subject as DVC but written from someone who can actually write and has great level of culture, read The Foucault Pendulum by Umberto Eco.
