MSNBC buys breakingnews.com

Last month MSNBC acquired the Twitter account @BreakingNews and its 1.4 million followers, and today, the news network is taking the concept a step further by buying the enviable domain name BreakingNews.com.
MSNBC plans to develop the website as a compliment to the feed, with more reporting and story updates than you currently get from Twitter(). Currently the domain name, which was bought from PV Media Group, is nothing more than a more nicely styled Twitter feed.
