Its been my experience in life, when the checks are late and payment slows down in any way, the company is in financial trouble or is about to sell and fob off the obligations. Mostly the former. Even those who seem big, can fall hard. I would be very suspicious of the stability of anyone and I mean anyone big or small who doesn't meet its obligations promptly. And you can take that to the bank. Its the first sign of a sinking ship.
