One of the funniest moments of my life happened several years ago when I went to Egypt. One afternoon we check into a hotel and are having a down day. I'm with a tour group and most of us decide to hang out by the pool. It is hot, well over 100 degrees, and we are swimming, drinking and having fun.
These four French girls come out to the pool. they are all in shorts and shirts. They are pretty hot. They proceed to strip nude and layout next to the pool. Some of the old guys in the tour group nearly had heart attacks. There was a guy and girl who worked for the hotel who were around the pool serving food and drinks etc. The guy said nothing, he just smiled. The girl ran over to them like they were on fire and started throwing towels on them and yelling that they can't be naked. The girls didn't know what the big deals was. The hotel worker ended up getting the manager and he explained to them that there were some muslim/conservative people that are workers and guests and they don't want to be exposed to nudity. One of the girls actually negotiated how naked they could get. As it turns out it was pretty much just bikinis, anything less would have brought the world to an end.
Gotta love the free spirited French girls.
