Imagine you put your 3-year old child to do child labour in a working camp where the child does construction work - painting walls, moving small blocks of bricks, working on an assembly line and doing simple physical tasks.
Ok - 3 years old is too young - he is too dumb. So, let's say you put him to work to start working at 7 years old. Let's say this young child gets paid $5 an hour and he works 40 hours a week. That would mean he makes $200 a week. That counts to $800 a month. It is also $9,600 a year.
Now, imagine this child works from the Age of 7 to the age of 18. This means that by the age of maturity, ( at 18 years old), this child has made $105,600 for himself throughout the 11 years of labour.
Now, you might say - "Well, sir - this child can't work! He needs to go to school and learn his subjects!"
But, imagine the child gets on-the-job training and he learns a new skill every week, let's say. This means that this child would have sufficient skills for construction work at least.
Now, keep in mind that the child only works 40 hours a week. This means he can still have another 20 hours a week to be home-schooled and learn essential things like math, english and science. In my mind, this would grow up to be a very productive member of society.
